Two national champion titles were awarded to two former Star world champions.
The Italian championship, held in Bracciano, was won by Roberto Benamati with Alberto Ambrosini while
the Brazilian championship, hosted in Ilhabela, saw the victory of Torben Grael with Arthur Lopes.
