Thirty boats from France and Switzerland competed on Lake Annecy in the Star French Championship. Four races were sailed over the weekend in very tricky conditions. The 2018 French champions are Quentin Chavy and Michel Dreyfus (FRA).
In northern Germany, the wind conditions allowed Star sailors from Danemark and Germany to sail seven races on Lake Keller. Heiko Winkler and Uwe Thielemann (GER) managed to win four races and finished first overall.
The Star sailors preparing for the Eastern Hemisphere Championship in Trieste could sail only one race for the Tito Nordio Cup. The winners of the trophy are Hubert Merkelbach and Markus Koy (GER).
