This weekend offers plenty of Star regattas around the world.
Two countries host their national championship. The Italian championship takes place in Bracciano and the Brazilian Star sailors compete for the national title at Yacht Club Ilhabela near São Paulo.
In addition to these national events, here are the regional and local Star regattas scheduled for this weekend :

- Trofeo Bisso at Societá Triestina della Vela in Italy
- Kitsilano Invitational Regatta at Kitsilano Yacht Club in Vancouver, Canada
- SSA Summer Regatta at Severn Sailing Association in Annapolis, US
- Blue Star Cup at Pirogovo Yacht Club near Moscow, Russia
- Regatta Carlos Soldo at Iate Clube do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
