Day 3 of the 470 World Championships in Palma was another light win day with wind of 6 to 9 knots. The Japanese hold the top two positions in the Gold Fleet with the Spanish team in third place. The defending World Champions Keiju Okada and Miho Yoshioka had a rough end to their day with a 28th. The last three days of competition are expected to be windy, so there will be some very exciting racing for the last half of the event. Gold Fleet racing ends on Saturday with the top 10 teams moving onto the Medal Race this Sunday.
