Star Sailors League (SSL) is looking for a talented Press Officer / Writer to join our media team and cover SSL events around the globe. Your first mission will be during the first SSL Gold Cup qualifications in December 2025 the World Cup in Sailing.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a writer or journalist (sports writing experience is a strong plus)
- Excellent command of English (native level); French is an additional advantage
- Strong knowledge of sailing, its rules, events, and athletes
- Ability to keep up to date with international sailing results and news
- Creativity, and the ability to work under event-time pressure
What you will do:
- Write engaging press releases, news articles, and event reports
- Prepare and distribute press notes, newsletters, and media updates via email
- Create compelling content for SSL’s website
- Work closely with the SSL media team during major regattas and events
- Ensure timely and accurate coverage of SSL competitions
