This regatta was created in order to give Luna Rossa’s second helmsman, Francesco Bruni, full credit for his latest accomplishment in Auckland at the Prada Cup and then America’s Cup. Since the SSL Ranking algorithm doesn’t allow two skippers on one boat, we had to make up this event to be even with both Luna Rossa’s skippers.
