- Douglas and Robert Schofield (USA) won the District 2 Championship held in Oxford Maryland, venue of the next Star Worlds.
- With only two races, the Disctrict 13 Championship has not been validated. Both races were won by Tom Lofstedt (SWE) and Joost Houweling (NED)
- Roberto Benamati and Alberto Ambrosini (ITA) won the 54th Trofeo Emilio Benetti held in Viareggio.
- Two local regattas saw the victory of femele skippers :
Stephanie Steinlein (GER) won the Frühlingspreis Ammersee and Lauren Barth (GER) won the Arms-White Regatta.
